Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. Jefferson County has a long history of great schools and great teachers, and I am committed to making sure every kid has access to a great education. This means providing the resources to keep class sizes small and attract and retain highly-qualified teachers to provide more one-on-one time with each student. We also need to make sure there are many affordable opportunities for every student who wants to go to college, community college or pursue a technical degree.
